The user can influence operation of the printer via the control panel:
–
Pause, continue or cancel print jobs
–
Set printer parameters, e. g. language and time (see page 3-3)
–
Configure the Ethernet interface (see page 3-5)
3.1
Layout of the control panel
The button functions depend on the current printer status:
–
active functions are indicated by the illuminated labels and symbols on the buttons of
the navigator pad.
–
During printing, active functions are illuminated in white (e.g. menu or feed).
In the offline menu, active functions are illuminated in orange (arrows, ↵ button).

Function of buttons in the offline menu

Arrows: Move up, down, left or right in the menu tree
↵ button: Enter a parameter in the menu, call help information in the event of an error
–
Press and hold down (> 2 s) the ↵ key in order to jump back to printing mode without
–
applying new parameter settings.
