14.2 Automatic Mute Function

If a sensor is activated when the alarm system is in the disarmed status, the alarm sounding via beep
tone or the alarm sounding via siren is active. As explained in the previous chapters, the alarm sounding
continues until the sensor is deactivated (e.g. doors or window closed again).
With the automatic mute function, it is possible to automatically deactivate the acoustic alarm sounding
via beep tone after 20 seconds. Then the „zone status LED" (1) alone remains lit. The beep tone is only
emitted again when the sensor is deactivated and reactivated again.
The automatic mute function only operates only when the alarm is in disarmed status.
The factory setting is a deactivated automatic mute function.
To set the automatic mute function, please proceed as follows:

1 Press „PROG" (12).
2 Enter the four digit master code
3 Press button 6
4 Deactivating automatic mute function :
Press the button 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5
(depending on which zone you
wish to set to the automatic mute
function).
5 Activating automatic mute function:
Press the button 6, 7, 8, 9 or 0
(depending on which zone you
wish to set to the automatic mute
function).
6 Press „PROG" (12).

Note
3 x a short beep confirms entry of
the correct code. 1 x long beep
indicates incorrect code entry.
As soon as you enter the

status LEDs" (1) light up or flash
Flashing = automatic mute
function deactivated, lit
continuously = automatic mute
function activated.
