5. Symbol Explanation

The flash icon in a triangle is used to alert you to potential personal injury hazards such as
electric shock.
The icon with the exclamation mark in a triangle points out particular dangers associated
with the handling, function or operation.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

6. Safety Instructions

The warranty will be void for damage arising from non-compliance with these
operating instructions! Liability for any and all consequential damage is excluded!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty is
voided in these cases.
Dear Customer, the following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of your
health but also for the protection of the device. Please read through the following points
attentively:
• If you are not sure when assembling, connecting and installing the device or if you have
doubts as to the mode of operation of the device, do not effect the assembly/
connection/installation of the device yourself, but rather contact a specialist.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because
of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is constructed according to protection class II. As a source of voltage only a
correct mains socket (230V/50Hz) of the mains grid should be used.
• The alarm control centre, the wireless door/window sensor, the remote control and the
mains supply plug are intended for use in closed dry interior settings. The wireless
movement sensor is suitable for interior settings and „protected" exterior areas.
• Take care to provide sufficient ventilation, never place and/or secure the alarm control
centre on highly inflammable surfaces (e.g. wood wall panelling).
• The mains supply plug for the alarm control centre may never be touched with wet hands.
There is otherwise a risk of a fatal electric shock.
