16. Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting when problems occur in the alarm control centre
The alarm system is not able to be armed.
The alarm system is not able to be armed.
Even though no sensor is activated and the
„ARM" LED (8) is not lit.
Why is the „ARM" LED (8) flashing?
How can I leave the programming mode at any time? Press „PROG" (12).
If a sensor is activated, the internal siren sounds
even though the alarm system is not armed.
When the alarm is triggered, the programmed
telephone numbers are not dialled. The process
stops shortly before dialling of the last number.
The alarm system does not sound any alarm,
neither by beep tone nor by internal siren, the
„zone status LEDS" are lit.
The alarm system is armed yet the alarm is not
sounded and telephone numbers are not called
in the case of an alarm event.
Troubleshooting when problems occur with the sensors
The wireless movement sensor is
constantly causing false alarms.
After mounting the wireless door/window
sensor, it no longer functions.
The wireless movement sensor only
delivers a sporadic signal to the wireless
alarm control centre.

Ensure that no sensor is activated. You can see this quickly
using the „zone status LEDs" (1), none of these should be flash-
ing.
You must disarm the system again by entering the master code
or by using the remote control.
This means that you have programmed in emergency tele-
phone numbers. Please note Chapter „10.2 Programming the
Telephone Numbers".
You have set this sensor to alarm sounding via internal siren
instead of alarm sounding via beep tone. Please note Chapter
„14.1 Setting the Acoustic Alarm".
The alarm systme stops dialling of further telephone numbers
as soon as it is disarmed, e.g. by someone who is called by the
alarm system.
You have set the „mode selection switch" (13) to position II, this
deactivates the internal signal emitters. Place the „mode
selection switch" (13) back in position I.
Please note Chapter „14.3 Alarm Zones (Bypass Zones)".
Ensure that the wireless movement sensor is not
exposed to direct sunlight. In addition, reduce the
sensitivity of the movement detection.
- Ensure that the magnet has been mounted
exactly and on the correct side of the wireless
door/window sensor.
- Ensure that the magnet sensor is within range of the
alarm control centre. To do so, remove the sensor
and bring it close to the alarm control centre and
then activate it.
- Ensure that the range of the sensor is not affected
(e.g. by metal objects or covers, concrete roofs, mir-
rors etc).
The movement sensor is designed to detect the first
movement. The first movement means that if no
movement occurs for 20 seconds, and then a
movement is detected, this is the „first movement
detection". If you now continue to move in the detec-
tion range of the wireless movement sensor, the
movement sensor will only contact the wireless alarm
control centre after another 20 seconds.
