Functions of the * button on the "mobile extension"
The * button is interpreted by the "mobile extension" as an R (flash) button and can perform the following functions
depending on the connection status:
In the call status:
In the hold for enquiry dialling status:
In the hold for enquiry call status:
In the inquiry call status:
In the hold for enquiry status:
Log in/out mobile extension internally
Log in/out mobile extension externally
Lift the receiver and dial the external call number allocated to the internal service number of elmeg hybird. Set your
telephone to tone dialling:
Note
A hold for enquiry is not allowed if the DTMF receiver cannot be switched on.
A DTMF receiver cannot be switched on, if:
• the engaged tone detection is switched off for an external analogue connection (POTS).
• No PCM channel is linked to a direct IP-to-IP connection and an SIP provider.
• Telephone calls are not routed via the Codec G.711 on IP connections or the DMTF signalling is out-
band (for other Codecs DTMF recognition may not function correctly!).

You hear the positive acknowledge tone.
Replace the receiver.
