During a call, you can call another subscriber at any time.

4.2.15 Call waiting

During a call, you can receive - or refuse - another call.
Allow/block call waiting for another call

Start dialling the number within the configured time.
Stand by until the destination subscriber is called after the configured time.
You are talking and want to call another party.
Press the R key. You will hear the internal dial tone.
If you wish to speak with an external subscriber, first dial . If, after dialling , you hear
the engaged tone, either your telephone is not authorised to make external calls or the ex-
change line is busy.
Dial the subscriber you want. You hear the ringing tone. Your correspondent is being
called. The person lifts the receiver.
Have a conversation.
To end the enquiry call, press the disconnect button on your telephone.
Or, if using analogue telephones:
Select , and the outgoing connection is terminated. The active connection is continued.
If you press , the active connection is terminated and you return to the held connection.
Continue your conversation.
You are making an external call and want to prepare the call for an open hold for enquiry.
Press the R key. You will hear the internal dial tone.
Dial .
You hear the positive acknowledge tone.
If you replace the receiver, the external call is queued.
You want to accept the call from an open hold for enquiry.
Dial the fixed code .
You have accepted the call.
Lift the receiver.
Allow / block call waiting.
