impedance of the input source, the input impedance of the playback
machine äs well äs the lead capacity must be taken into consideration
in order to avoid loss of response in the high frequency ränge during
both record and playback.
1.
MICRO Socket Q
Input Signals at pins 3/2 and 5/2 (2 = ground) may be between 0.12 mV
and 70 mV. In addition to all Iow-impedance dynamic microphones,
UHER Electret Condenser Microphone M 645 may also be connected
to this socket. The power supply for the condenser microphone is pro-
vided by the microphone's built-in battery (see the instructions for use
supplied with the microphone).
2.
Headphones Socket ^
= ground) is 4 V at each; Output impedance is approximately 200 ohms
at each.
3.
Input Signals at pins 1/2 and 4/2 (2 = ground) may be between 1.5 mV
and 110 mV. Input impedance is 15 kohms at each. For input Signals
of more than 70 mV, it is advisable to feed the Signals to pins 3/2 and
5/2 (2 = ground) of the Radio/Phono l input, using a crossover plug.
Input Signals at these pins may be between 40 mV and 2.8 V; input
impedance is 1.2 megohms at each. For input Signals of more than 1.5 V,
it is advisable to use the Phono II input socket £. .
In playback, Output Signals delivered to pins 3/2 and 5/2 (2 = ground)
of the Radio/Phono l socket are approximately 600 mV at each, out-
put impedance being 15 kohms at each.
4.
Phono II Socket ^
Input Signals at pins 3/2 and 5/2 of this socket may be between 200 mV
and 18V. Input impedance is 50 kohms at each.
5.
Remote Control Socket
A
Via pins 4 and 3 (3 = ground), the SG 561 may be switched to PAUSE
with either UHER Manual Remote Control Switch F 111 or Foot-Oper-
ated Remote Control Switch F 21 1.
An output voltage of 26 V (output impedance 390 ohms) is delivered
to pin 1 for Operation of UHER "Akustomat" F411. The Iow-frequency
Signal of the left channel is run to pin 2, that of the right channel to pin 5.
6. Slide Projector Socket
The monitor Output of the left channel is at pin 1 of this socket, that
of the right channel at pin 5 (output voltage approximately 600 mV/
Output impedance approximately 15 kohms at each). The "Dia-Pilot"
head is run out to pins 4 and 6 (6 = ground) for recording control
pulses in film dubbing. Slide changing for the slide projector is triggered
via pins 2 and 3.
