4. Connecting the SG 561 to the Amplifier of a Hi-Fi Sound System
The following examples represent the most frequently used types of equipment and the connections they require for incorporating the SG 561 into a
the correct connections.
4.1 Connecting to an Amplifier with DIN Sockets
Fig. 7 illustrates how to connect the SG 561 to a hi-fi amputier
equipped with a 5-pin DIN combination input/output socket for record
and playback. All other amplifier input sources (e.g., tuner or record-
player) should be connected to the corresponding input sockets of the
amplifier. The amplifier connection to the SG 561 should be to the
any of the equipment connected to (and fed through) the amplifier of
the audio System. The MICRO switch © should remain in up-position.
Although microphones may also be connected to the amplifier, it is
advisable to connect them directly to the Microphone socket Q of the
SG 561; in which case the MICRO Switch © should be pressed only
when recording from microphones.

4.2 Connecting to an Amplifier Not Equipped with

DIN Sockets

Fig. 8 illustrates how to connect the SG 561 to an amplifier that is
not equipped with DIN sockets. In this case all other amplifier input
equipment (e.g., tuner or record-player) should also be connected to
the corresponding input sockets of the amplifier. For record Operation,
