Transport and Storage

The UNITEST Multimeter Hexagon instruments are a valu-
able support during performance of standard measure-
ment tasks for trade and industry, as well as for the DIY
electrician. The instruments characteristics are as follows:
• Digital Multimeter with particularly large display screen
• 3 3 / digit, digital display with 4.000 digits

• True RMS measurement (only Hexagon 120)
• Acoustic warning signal for wrong socket assignment
with reference to the measurement range
• Thermometer (option, only Hexagon 120)
• Safety in compliance with DIN VDE 0411, EN 61010, IEC
61010, CAT III/600 V
The scope of supply comprises:
1 UNITEST Hexagon 110, 120
1 Protection holster
2 Test leads (1 red, 1 black)
2 Batteries 1.5 V, IEC LR03

Please keep the original packaging for later transport, e.g.
for calibration. Any transport damage due to faulty packag-
ing will be excluded from warranty claims.
In order to avoid instrument damage, it is advised to re-
move accumulators when not using the instrument over a
certain time period. However, should the instrument be
contaminated by leaking battery cells, you are kindly re-
quested to return it to the factory for cleaning and inspec-
tion.
Instruments must be stored in dry and closed areas. In the
case of an instrument being transported in extreme tem-
peratures, a recovery time of minimum 2 hours is required
prior to instrument operation.
