If during the measurement process, the display is difficult
to view or is fluctuating, the measurement data can be
frozen by pressing the Hold key.
The UNITEST Hexagon 110 and 120 Multimeter are
equipped with an acoustic socket control feature
(ASC). If a test lead connection is faulty an acoustic
signal is emitted.

5.7 Current Measurement

To connect the measurement instrument the measure-
ment circuit may not be live.
The instrument may only be operated within a current
circuit, protected at 25 A, up to a nominal voltage of
1000 V.
The nominal cross section of the connection lead
must be considered and a safe connection (e.g. via al-
ligator clamps) must be realised.
The cause for the fuse tripping has to be eliminated
prior to carrying out the fuse replacement for the in-
strument fused tripped.
