The UNITEST Hexagon 110 and 120 are equipped with
an acoustic socket control feature (ASC). If a test lead
connection is faulty an acoustic signal is emitted.

5.8 Temperature Measurement

(only for Hexagon 120)
The UNITEST Hexagon 120 Multimeter is equipped with an
integrated thermometer feature.
Prior to any temperature measurement, it must be en-
sured that the surface to be measured is not live. Any
failure to respect this prescription can lead to serious
corporal injury or instrument damage.
In order to avoid any burns, the UUT may only be
touched by means of the thermocouple.
Select Temp measurement range using the measure-
ment function selection dial.
For temperature measurement, connect the thermo-
couple (option) to the COM and
specting correct polarities.
The SELECT key is used to select the desired measure-
ment type (°C/°F). The symbol °C or °F is indicated on
the LCD in compliance with the respectively set meas-
urement type.
Connect thermocouple with UT.
Read the measurement result on the display screen.
