6.0 Special Function

6.1 Auto Power Off

The UNITEST Hexagon Multimeter are equipped with an
automatic power off function. This function is activated ap-
proximately 30 minutes after the last operation of the
measurement function selection dial, or, if the measure-
ment value falls 10 % below the measurement range. The
Multimeter is reactivated by pressing the SELECT key or by
switching the instrument off and on.

6.2 Relative Value

The display can be set to zero for the determination of the
relative value of measurement data, using the relative value
function.
Press the
key. The triangle is indicated and the dis-
play is set to zero.
Perform the measurements in compliance with the de-
scriptions in the previous sections. The relative value to a
measurement value is displayed.
6.3 NMRR/CMRR NMRR (Normal Mode Rejection Ratio)
The UNITEST Hexagon Multimeter range is equipped with
the NMRR mode. This mode absorbs undesired AC voltage
noise which could falsify DC current or DC voltage meas-
urements. The UNITEST Hexagon range is specified to >50
dB at 50/60 Hz.
CMRR (Common Mode Rejection Ratio)
DC voltage shares can be present at the COM socket as
well as on the voltage input socket, with reference to the
ground.
The UNITEST Hexagon Multimeter range is equipped with
the CMRR mode. This mode absorbs DC voltage shares
which may cause digit jumps or offsets. The CMRR mode
for the UNITEST Hexagon range is specified to >120 dB in
DC and AC voltage ranges (50/60 Hz).
