ROTA-S plus
Drehen Sie mit dem Spannschlüssel die Spindel (Pos. 8)
solange nach rechts, bis die Keilstange mit Gewinde (Pos. 5)
kurz vor dem Anschlag steht. »Nicht anschlagen !!«
Die Lagerschale (Pos. 15) an der Stirnseite der Spindel
(Pos. 8) entfernen.
Die Spindel (Pos. 8) und die eingeschraubte Keilstange
(Pos. 5) mit der Lagerschale (Pos. 13) schräg nach oben aus
dem Futterkörper entnehmen.
Keilstange (Pos. 5) aus der Spindel (Pos. 8) heraus schrauben
und die Lagerschale (Pos.13) abnehmen.
Bei den Größen 160, 200, 250 und 315 die Schraube (Pos.
31) entfernen. Bei den Größen 400, 500 und 630 die Schraube
(Pos. 31) und die Sicherungsscheibe (Pos. 39) entfernen.
Nun den Anzeigestift (Pos. 17) mit der dazugehörenden
Druckfeder (Pos. 28) entnehmen. An schließend den Futter-
körper (Pos. 1) auf seine Rückseite drehen und die Raststifte
(Pos. 25) mit den Federn (Pos. 27) und zugehörigen Scheiben
(Pos. 26) herausziehen. Die Patronen (Pos. 19) aus dem
Futterkörper entfernen.
Die Patronen (Pos. 19) sind eine Sicherheits-
einrichtung und
werden!
Festsitzende bzw. schwergängige Patronen
(Pos. 19) keinesfalls durch Gewalteinwirkung
gangbar machen! Patronen wie beschrieben
ausbauen und die gereinigten Patronen einölen
(nicht mit Futterfett einfetten!) und danach
wieder montieren.
Keilstange ohne Gewinde (Pos. 9) demontieren: Spannstifte
(Pos. 30) entfernen. Die Druckfeder (Pos. 29), sowie der
Bolzen (Pos. 10) können aus der Keilstange (Pos. 9)
demontiert werden.
Ab Baugröße ROTA-S plus 250:
Gewindestifte (Pos. 41) aus dem Futterkörper demontieren
und die Druckfedern (Pos. 40) sowie die 2. Raststifte
(Pos. 24) herausnehmen.
Reinigen Sie alle Teile sorgfältig mit einem Entfettungsmittel
und prüfen Sie alle Teile auf Verschleiß und Beschädigung.
Beschädigte Teile nur
ersetzen!
Anschließend alle Einzelteile mit einem geeigneten Schmier-
fett (LINO MAX) einfetten.
Montage
Die Montage des Futters erfolgt in umge kehrter Reihenfolge.
Dabei folgende Punkte beachten:
Keine Teile vergessen!
Auch Kleinteile dienen der Sicherheit des
Drehers!
Alle Patronen montieren. Raststifte wieder mit Scheiben,
Feder und Sicherungsringen montieren. Bei der Montage
der Raststifte ist zu beachten, dass beim ROTA-S plus 250
der Zahn exzentrisch liegt. Die Zahnlücke muss in Richtung
Futtermitte montiert werden.

Turn the spindle (Item 8) by means of the key to the right until
the wedge bar with the thread (Item 5) will contact the stop of
the pressure ring. "No touch!!"
Remove the bearing seat (Item 15) at the face of the spindel
(Item 8).
Take out the spindle (Item 8) and the screwed-in wedgebar
(Item 5) with the bearing seat (Item 13) from above out of the
chuck body.
Take off the wedgebar (Item 5) from the spindle (Item 8) and
the bearing seat (Item 13).
Remove the screws (Item 31) for the chuck sizes 160, 200,
250 and 315. For chuck sizes 400, 500 and 630 the screws
(Item 31) and teh safety disk (Item 39) have to be removed.
Now remove the safety indication pin (Item 17) with the
suitable pressure spring (Item 28). Turn the chuck body
(Item 1) onto its back and draw out the plunger pins
(Item 25) with the springs (Item 27), and the matching disks.
Remove the cartridges (Item 19) from the chuck body.
The cartridge (Item 19) is a safety unit and never
should be disassembled!
Never loosen jammed or stiff cartridges (Item
19) by using force! Remove cartridges as
described, then lubricate the cleaned cartridges
(do not grease with chuck grease!) and reinstall
afterwards.
Disassemble the wedgebar without thread (Item 9): remove
the clamping pin (Item 30). The pressure springs (Pos, 29),
as well as the pins (Item 10) can be disassembled from the
wedge bar (Item 9).
As of size ROTA-S plus 250:
Take out the set-screws (Item 41) from the chuck body, then
the pressure springs (Item 40) as well as the 2nd. plunger pins
(Item 24).
Thoroughly clean the components with degreasing agent and
check all components on wear and damage.
Damaged components have to be replaced by original
SCHUNK spare parts!
Then lubrify all components with a suitable grease (LINO
MAX).
Assembly
The assembly of the chuck is done in the reverse order.
Please consider the following points:
Do not
assembly!
Even small components increase safety of the
operator!
Mount all the cartridges. Mount the plunger pin with the
disks, the spring and the safety rings. During assembly of the
plunger pins please note that the tooth of the ROTA-S plus
250 is eccentrically positioned. The space width has to be
mounted in direction of the chuck center.
