The scope comes with one factory pre-loaded reticle. However you have an
opportunity to download an alternative reticle from the reticle library available on
our web-site www.pulsar-nv.com
NOTE:
For the models 76312/76315 the following procedure applies: in order to choose a
suitable reticle, you have the opportunity to upload any reticle from the reticle base an
unlimited number of times within ONE hour of scope's operating time. As one hour of the
total scope's operating time expires, upload is no longer possible and the scope keeps
the reticle that was uploaded last.
In the left portion of the data panel there is a minute counter (see pic.)
that indicates time since the previous start-up of the scope. After the
50th minute the counter turns red, after the 59th minute it disappears.
Reticle upload procedure:
Download the reticle zip file with to your PC and
dearchive it.
Turn on the scope and attach to the PC using a
standard miniUSB cable. The scope will be detected
as a HID device.
Launch .exe file of the reticle you chose. A preview box
will show the reticle to upload (see pic.) The dialog
box also displays connection status between the
scope and PC "Connected" (scope was detected) or
"Disconnected" (scope was not detected).
Click "Upload Reticle" to upload a reticle.
If the reticle is successfully uploaded into the scope, you will see the new
reticle on the display of your scope right away.
NOTE: correct work of the Mil-Dot reticle is supported only with the basic 4.5x magnification.
The riflescope has a number of modes to enhance image quality: Contrast
mode and Sum Light™ mode:
Mode "Contrast" allows rapid image contrast enhancement (button (13),
marked by
icon).
Mode "Sum Light™" activates enhanced sensitivity algorithm for
operation in low light conditions or complete darkness (button (12), marked
by
icon).
Sum Light™ function and its peculiarities
The riflescope features the Sum Light™ function based on the accumulation of
signals inside the CCD array. The use of Sum Light™ increases sensitivity of
the CCD array several times in case of low illumination levels thus making it
possible to conduct observation virtually in complete darkness.

However please note that higher sensitivity causes an increased noise
level in the picture, lower frame rate; image slows down, if the riflescope
is rapidly moved from one side to the other, the picture may be blurred
for a moment. Neither of these effects is a flaw of the unit. After the
SumLight™ Signal Processing Program is activated, light dots (pixels)
may appear in the field of view which is explained by operation
peculiarities of this function. This is not a defect either.
USE OF THE ADDITIONAL WEAVER 7/8 RAIL
