This quick overview is only designed to give you an idea of how
to proceed. Make sure you observe chapter 10. a) to f) to ensure
proper PC operation.
Note that the receiver switches to USB mode as soon as it is
connected to the PC. This means that "A/V out" (13) will be
deactivated and that the receiver is powered via USB with
5V/DC.
So do not connect the wall power supply when the receiver is
operated on a PC. Also cut off the connection to your monitor.
To play back the camera feed on your monitor via the "A/V out"
(13) socket, separate the USB connection between the receiver
and the PC.

10. Operating the receiver on a PC

a) Installation of provided iSEC Guarding Software

The following describes the installation under Windows XP. The
installation procedure under other operating systems might dif-
fer slightly.
The description of the software and the installation mainly
refers to the English language versions.
Insert the provided CD into the CD-ROM drive of your PC. After a
short time, the setup screen is displayed. If the setup screen does not
open up, start the installation by double-clicking on the CD icon
under "MY COMPUTER".
Proceed as described in the following and follow the instructions on the screen.
