4. Heat medium, using 2-station temperature sensor (Set2 mode)
Connect 2-station temperature sensor as described in para. 3 „Set-up".
For special applications, we recommend a 2-station temperature sensor (refer to picture). This sensor
allows to limit max. temperature of the medium to a certain ∆T from nominal and avoids temperature
overshoot in the medium close to the bath wall. For working with this temperature sensor please refer to
the following details:
Safety cut-off feature (refer to para. 3.2 „set safe temperature") is not active.
Heating time may rise at low ∆T.
Medium temperature overshoot might occur at high ∆T due to the inherent
thermal capacity of the heat carrier. If this happens, decrease ∆T.
• Immerse a temperature sensor with white handle (a) (= marked medium) in the medium bath.
• Immerse the second temperature sensor with black handle (B) (= marked heat transfer medium
or carrier) in the heat transfer medium.
Use one more holder for this temperature sensor (P/N 509-67000-00).
