Adjusting the clutch cable
1. Remove the clutch adjusting cover,
and loosen the adjust screw lock nut.
2. Loosen the clutch adjust screw (turn it
to the left), and then tighten it slowly
by turning it clockwise. Back it off
1/4 turn from a lightly seated position,
and lock it with the lock nut.
3. Then adjust the play of the clutch
cable with the adjust screw attached to
the clutch lever holder.
Adjusting the front brake
It is much easier to make it at the brake
lever. This is done by loosening the lock
nut, and screwing the adjuster in or out
until you have 3 / 1 6 " free play.
