Measurement under contrary environmental conditions
is not admitted. Contrary environmental conditions are:
- dampness or excessive air humidity,
- dust and inflammable gases, fumes or solvents,
- thunderstorm or thunderstorm conditions such as
electrostatic fields etc.
A use different to the one described above damages
the measuring device. Moreover, this involves dangers,
like e.g. short-circuit, burning, electric shock etc. The
entire product must not be modified or rebuilt! The sa-
fety instructions must be adhered to!
Setting elements
Refer to the figure on the fold-out page
1. Direct-reading display with 1a mechanical pointer
zero setting, 1b mirror scale and display of all effec-
tive ranges: ACV-measurements are displayed up to
500 V in the medium DCV-range (up to 50 V) (x10).

2. Turn switch (=measuring function switch) for setting
the various operating modes (measurement of volta-
ge, current etc.) and "OFF"-position (turns off the
device)
3. Measuring input via two firmly connected measuring
leads COM (COM- or minus connection, black) and
VmAOhm-(+)-input (= plus connection, red)
4. "Ohm ADJ" on the left-hand side under the display
points to the controller for balancing during resi-
stance measurement (by joining the test prods).
5. Battery compartment for one (1) round cell under the
bottom housing shell
