Données techniques et spécifications
L'exactitude est estimée pour une période d'un an après le tarage et sous une
température de 18°C à 28°C (64°F to 82°F) avec une humidité relative de 80%.

Safety Instructions

We do not resume liability for resulting damages to property or
personal injury if the product has been abused in any way or
damage by improper use or failure to observe these operating
instructions. The guarantee will then expire!
• Unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product are inadmissible due to
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The voltage between the measuring device and earth may not exceed
600VDC/VACrms in overvoltage category III or 1000VDC and 750 VACrms in the
overvoltage category II.
• Current measurement can only be carried out in power circuits secured with 10A or
less.
• Full compliance with safety standards can be guaranteed only if used with test leads
supplied. Test leads must be in good condition.
• When the meter is linked to measurement circuit, do not touch unused terminals.
• When the value to be measured is unknown, set the range selector at the highest
position.
• When measuring TV or switching power circuits always remember that there may be
high amplitude voltage pulses at test points, which can damage the multimeter.
• Never perform resistance measurements on live circuits.
• If covers are opened or parts are removed, except it is possible without tools, voltage-
carrying components may be accessible. Terminals can also carry voltage. If it is
necessary to open the unit before battery and fuse replacement, the device has to be
separated from all voltage sources and measuring circuits.
• Capacitors in the device can still carry voltage, even if the device has been separated
from all voltage sources.
• Using this appliance in an environment with a strong radiated radio - frequency
electromagnetic field (approximately 3V/m) may influence its measuring accuracy.
The measuring result can be strongly deviating from the actual value.
• Before attempting to insert transistors capacitor thermocouple for testing, always be
sure that test lest leads have been disconnected from any measurement circuits.
• Components should not be connected to the hFE and capacitor and the thermocouple
socket when making voltage measure with test leads.
• Test devices and their accessories must be kept out of reach of children!
• In industrial facilities, the safety regulations laid down by the professional trade
association for electrical equipment and facilities must be observed.
• In schools, training facilities, do-it-yourself and hobby workshops, test devices are to
be used only under supervision of trained personnel.
• Before performing voltage measurements, make sure that the tester is not in the
current test position.
• Before changing the test range, remove the test leads from the test object.
• Use extreme caution when measuring voltages >25 V for AC and >35 V for DC! Even
these voltages might cause a lethal electric shock when touching electric leads.
• Before each measurement check your test device and the test leads for damage(s).
Never perform measurements if the protective insulation is damaged (torn, ripped off,
etc.)
