g) Switching on the Speed Controller

• Leave the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter in its neutral position (do not touch/move the lever). If you have not
done so already, put the transmitter trimming for driving into the centre position.
• Switch on the speed controller.
• Wait for a few seconds until the motor emits a double sound (the sound is produced by brief activation of the motor).
The LED at the speed controller must not be lit.
• Now check the drive and steering functions of the vehicle.
If the motor has only emitted one sound and the vehicle does not react to the movements of the throttle lever
at the transmitter, the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter is not in the central position or the driving function
trimming is badly misadjusted.
For reasons of safety, the drive function is deactivated in this case.
The speed controller has an undervoltage recognition. When the voltage drops below 6,2 V, it will switch off
the motor to protect the connected drive battery from deep discharge.

h) Putting on the Car Body and Tail Spoiler and Attaching Them

Push the aerial tube from the bottom of the body through the respective opening. Now put the car body on the holders
in the correct alignment and fasten them with the 2 holding brackets removed at the start.
Remove the two clips for the tail spoiler at the associated holder at the vehicle. Push the tail spoiler onto the holder
and secure it with the two clips.
The charger is now ready for operation.

i) Controlling the Vehicle

Operate the throttle/braking lever for the drive function at the transmitter very cautiously and do not drive too fast at
the beginning until you get used to the car's reactions. Do not make any quick and jerky movements with the operating
elements of the remote control.
Never point the transmitter aerial directly onto the vehicle. It will strongly decrease the range. The maximum range will
be achieved when the aerial of the transmitter and vehicle are both vertical and in parallel to each other.
If the vehicle tends to pull towards the left or the right, set the steering trim on the transmitter accordingly.
When switching between forward and reverse gears, the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter must be put in the
neutral position briefly (approx. 1 second) (neutral position = let go of lever, do not move it). If the throttle/brake lever
at the transmitter is moved from forward to reverse directly, the brake function of the drive is activated (vehicle will
NOT reverse).
Wait for at least 5 - 10 minutes until motor and speed controller have cooled down sufficiently before the next run. Only
then start a new drive with a full drive battery.
