e) Pre-listening

Turn the PHONES LEVEL control (6) as far as it will go to the left („0" position) before plugging
in, unplugging or putting on the headphones or switching the mixing desk on or off. Otherwise
you risk damage to your hearing through excessive volume from the headphone output.
• With the PAN control (5), you define, which input signal of the mixing desk is played back via the headphones.
• If the PAN control (5) is turned all the way to one of the stops, the input signal of the respective channel (CH1
or CH2) is played back via the headphones. This position facilitates what is referred to as „pre-listening", i.e. you
can hear the input signal without it being reproduced on the connected amplifier. This will enable you to find the
correct start point – for example, when cross-fading or mixing.
• If the PAN control (5) is in the center position, the input signals of both channels are played back via the
headphones.

f) Cross-fading/mixing

• Using the CROSSFADER (9) you can cross-fade/mix between the signals of the channels CH1 and CH2.
• When the cross-fader (9) is actuated, one channel is faded out (becomes quieter) and the other channel is faded
in (becomes louder) at the same time. In the central position, both fader channels are reproduced equally.

g) Using digital effects

• With the rotary switch ASSIGN (19), select the channel to be influenced by the digital effect.
• Select the desired sound effect using the PROGRAM rotary control. The set effect is indicated on the DISPLAY
(21).
0 = Reverb
1 = Echo 50% Feedback
2 = Chorus Reverb
3 = Chorus Echo
• Set the effect characteristic with the rotary control PARAMETER (23).
• With the rotary control RETURN, set the effect strength (ratio of the effect signal to the original signal).
• When making this setting, please note that the display CLIP (20) may not be lit.
