Then engine does not
start
The engine starts up but
does not have full power.
The engine runs erratically Wrong spark plug electrode gap
Sooty or damp spark plug Incorrect carburettor setting
Possible cause
Incorrect start-up procedure
Contaminated air filter (33)

Remedy
Follow the instructions for starting
Clean the air filter (33)
Clean spark plug and adjust electrode gap
or fit new spark plug
Have the carburettor adjusted and, if
necessary, clean the spark plug or replace it
with a new one
