PAUSE TIMING
ADJUSTMENT
I. Place the unit in playback mode, and see that the gap
between the Pin on the pause lever and pause lock lever
is more
than
0.2 mm.
2. Push, then, the pausekey slowly, and see that the pres
sure roller and take-up idler are simultaneously apart
from the capstan and take-up turntable. At this time,
also see that the pressure roller ends to rotate a little
earlier than the take-up turntable does, or the two stop
almost at a time. If the pressureroller stops earlier, check
that the gap between the capstanand pressureroller be-
comes 0.3 mm or less just when the take-up turntabie
next
stops.
3. If the step 2 is not satisfied, adjust it by bending the
part @ of the pause lock lever.

I. Das Gerät auf die Wiedergabe-Betriebsart einstellen,
und nachprüfen, 0b der Abstand zwischendem Stift
am Pausenhebel und dem Pausensperrhebelmehr als
mm beträgt.
2. Dann die Pausentaste langsam drücken, und nach-
prüfen, 0b sich die Andruckrolle und Aufwickel-
zwischenrolle gleichzeitig von der Tonweile und
Aufwickeldrehscheibe
prüfen, 0b die Andruckrolle etwas früher zum
Stillstand
kommt
als die Aufwickeldrehscheibe,
0b die beiden fast gleichzeitig zum Stillstand kommen.
Falis die Andruckrolie
sicherstellen, daß der Abstand zwischen der Tonwelle
und Andruckrolle
mm Oder weniger beträgt, wenn
die Aufwickeldrehscheibe
3. Falls der obige Schritt 2 nicht normal ist, eine ent-
sprechen

Connect V.T.V.M., across a resistor (R102 or R202).

output terminals of V.T.V.M.

position and the SW3-3 at "OFF

4. Place the unit
in record mode.
5. Adjust the bias oscillation coil (L303) so that
oscillation frequency becomes 105 kHz
6. Set the metal tape ON/OFF switch (SW3—3)
