Standard axis positions
In order to determine the optimum position of the wire feeder at extreme welding positions, we recommend the following axis
positions:

This procedure avoids extreme stress on the cable assembly.
1 Loosen the wire feeder (1).
2 Align the cable assembly (2) in the specified direction.

NOTICE
• The type of intermediate flange (3) used for the iSTM mini (1) depends on the welding robot (5) model. The number
and size of cylinder head screws (2) used also depend on the welding robot.
Mount the iSTM mini (1) with eight cylinder head screws M4 × 12 (2) and a max. tightening torque of M = 4 Nm on the
welding robot (5).
The pin hole (4) in the welding robot (5) serves as a reference point between the iSTM mini (1) and welding robot (5).
