8. Operation

a) Removing the Car Body

The car body is fastened to the car with holding brackets that have to be slid out of the retaining pins. The car body can
then be lifted off.

b) Installing the Receiver Aerial Cable

For 27/40 MHz remote control systems, the receiver's aerial cable is normally rolled up on delivery. Unwrap the aerial
cable completely and smooth it out carefully. For this, hold the aerial cable near the receiver with two fingers (do not
hold the receiver but the cable) and then pull the cable straight repeatedly with two fingers of your other hand.
The receiver and the aerial cable are located in the closed receiver box. Therefore, first open the receiver
box lid by removing the holder bracket and folding open the lid.
To protect the receiver from vibrating, we recommend wrapping it in foam before closing the receiver box
again.
Now insert the aerial cable from below through the attachment (possibly already performed by the manufacturer).
Guide it through the aerial tube and plug the aerial tube into the respective attachment mount on the vehicle. Simply let
excess aerial cable protrude loosely from the tip of the aerial tube.
If a rubber cap for the aerial tube is enclosed; it prevents the dislocation of the aerial cable after it is attached to the tip.
Make sure that the aerial cable does not enter the drive. Never shorten the aerial cable! Never roll up the
aerial cable! This greatly reduces the range.
Then, close the receiver box again carefully.

c) Inserting the Driving Batteries into the Vehicle

At the left and right of the vehicle, there is one holder each for one of the two driving batteries. This build was chosen
by the manufacturer so that a flat car body can be used. This also places the centre of gravity lower, which improves
driving behaviour.
Loosen the hook and loop tapes and place the two driving batteries in the battery holders. Tighten the hook and loop
tapes again before closing them.
Attention!
The drive batteries must not be connected to the speed controller yet.
