1. Remove the M10 nut (13d), the cover (13c) and the
spring washer (13b) from the receptacle spindle (10b).
Attention - Left-handed thread!
Hold the flange (10c) using a 5 mm Allen key (16) and
use an installation spanner (14) to open the M10 nut
(13d).
2. The flange (10c) remains on the receptacle spindle
(10b).
3. Place the cutting blade (13) on the flange (10c).
Note that the direction of rotation of the cutting blade
(13) must match with the direction of the arrow on the
protective cover (12).
4. Then push the spring washer (13b) and the cover
(13c) onto the mounting spindle (10b).
5. Fasten the cutting blade (13) with the M10 nut (13d).
6. Hold the flange (10c) using a 5 mm Allen key (16) and
use an installation spanner (14) to fit the M10 nut
(13d). Attention - Left-handed thread!
7. Remove the transport protection (13a) from the cutting
blade (13).
8. Removal of the cutting blade (13) takes place in re-
verse order.

Mounting the front tubular shaft
(10) (Fig. 6)
ATTENTION
Never operate the product without an insert tool!
1. Remove the protective cap (10a) from the front tubular
shaft (10) and the tubular shaft (1).
2. Loosen the star grip (1c).
3. Pull the locking pin (1d) outwards and turn it to the
right or left as far as it will go, then release it.
It will lock in the outer position.
4. Fit the front tubular shaft (10) to the tubular shaft (1).
5. Turn the front tubular shaft (10) with slight rotary
movements until the front tubular shaft (10) is seated
in the tubular shaft (1) up to the end stop.
6. Return the locking pin (1d) to its initial position.
The locking pin (1d) engages audibly.
7. Secure the front tubular shaft (10) with the star grip
(1c).

Before commissioning
ATTENTION
Always make sure the product is fully assembled
before commissioning!
ATTENTION
Always carry out assembly and adjustments on the
product with the engine switched off and disconnect the
spark plug connector.
WARNING
Do not use fuel that has not been correctly mixed with
2-stroke oil. This may cause permanent engine damage
and will void the manufacturer's warranty on this prod-
uct. Never use a fuel mixture that has been stored for
more than 90 days.
ATTENTION
The product is delivered without fuel/oil mix-
ture. It is therefore essential to fill with fuel/
oil mixture before commissioning.
Use only a mixture of unleaded fuel (min.
RON 95) and special 2-stroke engine oil (JA-
SO FD/ISO – L - EGD).
WARNING
Health hazard!
Inhalation of fuel / lubricating oil vapours and exhaust
gases can cause serious damage to health, uncon-
sciousness and in extreme cases death.

Do not breathe fuel / lubricating oil vapours and ex-
haust gases.

Operate the product outdoors only.
WARNING
Fuels and fuel vapours are flammable and
can cause serious damage if they are inhaled
or come into contact with the skin. You
should therefore exercise caution when han-
dling fuel, and ensure good ventilation.
WARNING
Petrol and the fuel-oil mixture are highly flammable!
WARNING
Danger of injury
Objects hurled away and rotating parts can cause se-
vere injuries.

Make sure that other persons maintain a sufficient
safety distance.

Keep uninvolved persons away from the product.

Keep the product in front of you.
–
Never point the product at yourself, other people or
animals.
Notes:
• Place the product on a level, even surface.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the
operating manual before using for the first time.
It is mandatory to carefully check the product for any
damage before each use or after it has been dropped. If
damage is identified, it must be rectified immediately by
you or an authorised service centre.
