Storage

• Clean the device prior to storage.
• Attach the encasing (15).
• Empty the oil tank prior to longer peri-
ods of non-use. Dispose of waste oil en-
vironmentally correctly (Disposal/envir-
onmental protection, p. 59).

Troubleshooting

The following table will assist you in fixing faults:

There may still be oil residues within
hoses and in the device that could leak
out during storage. Place the device on
a suitable base/oil pan for storage.
• Store the device in a dry and dustproof
location and out of reach of children.

Transport

• Cover the blade bar and saw chain
with the encasing (15) when you trans-
port the device.
• Short distances at the place of work:
Carry the device by the front handle
(4) with the blade bar pointing back-
wards.
