The "Grad" operating mode is used for monitoring the changes in the input signal over time. The
time basis t of the monitoring system is configured in the "PARAMETER/M55 -> Grad. time"

menu.
The difference between the lower range value M
calculated. If the calculated value is greater that the value set under "Setpoint A", the relay is
switched in accordance with the failsafe mode configured in "Rel. Mode" (see Section 6.3.11).
The relay is switched on again once the difference between M
in "Hysteresis". The sign determines the direction of signal change. Positive values monitor an
increase in the measured value while negative values monitor a decrease. A new value is calculated
every second (floating interval).
