b) Installation into the Concealed Socket
This is the common and preferred assembly, since the sensor unit is installed space-savingly in
a concealed socket flush with the wall and there is the possibility of safe spatial separation of
sensor and evaluation unit.
Proceed as follows:
• Attach the mounting bracket to the concealed socket with three countersunk screws (3x12) (ob-
serve alignment so that the sensor unit can be installed accordingly in the correct position).
• The 75cm long connection cable is pulled through any break-out opening of the concealed
socket and connected to the sensor unit (connection socket 1).
• The installed sensor unit including frame is placed on the concealed socket and screwed to the
metal bracket with the two enclosed hexagon screws.
Assembly in the concealed socket
• Connect the sensor unit to the corresponding socket "Sensor
unit" of the evaluation unit with the connection cable .
• The evaluation unit can (if required) also be installed in a con-
cealed socket or attached to the wall (assembly holes in the
bottom plate of the evaluation unit).
Before the evaluation unit is pushed into the concealed
socket, the connection cables for the operating voltage and
the relay outputs must be connected.
