6. Installation and Connection
a) Mounting of the Sensor Unit
With the help of the enclosed drilling template, the
attachment holes for the sensor unit in the Sygonix
SX.11 frame (not enclosed, can be ordered separate-
ly, see chapter 19) can be drilled precisely; see ar-
rows in the figure on the right.
For this, a drill with 3.0 mm diameter is needed.
Then the pre-installed sensor unit is inserted in the
rear of the Sygonix single or double frame.
From the front, the cover frame is now put on and
attached from the rear through the previously
drilled holes with the 4 enclosed countersunk
screws (2x8).
Assembly example with double frame
Connection socket 1:
This is the socket for the connection line to the evalu-
ation unit. The distance between the evaluation unit
and the sensor unit is no more than 75 cm. An exten-
sion is not permissible.
Connection socket 2:
This is the connection for light ring lighting.
