For mitre cuts, the cutting depth is
less than the set value on the cutting
depth scale (29).
­Hold­the­device­firmly­with­both­
hands during the angle cut to main-
tain better control of the tool.
Adjusting the cutting
depth
1. Press the locking mechanism (15) of the
cutting depth adjustment and keep it
pressed.
2. Set the desired cutting depth on the
cutting depth scale (29) using the refer-
ence mark (28).

3. Release the locking mechanism (15).
Connecting the guide
rail
The­guide­rails­have­tension­tear­
protection (black rubber lip) on their
undersides.­This­tension­tear­protection­
must­be­shortened­to­be­flush­with­the­
length­of­the­guide­rail­before­the­first­cut.­
Place the guide rail on a workpiece. Set a
cutting­depth­of­approx.­10 mm­on­the­
plunge saw and turn the plunge saw on.
Guide the plunge saw evenly in the cutting
direction, applying slight pressure.
1. Slide the connecting element (32) into
the groove on the guide rails (31).
The­connecting­element­should­be­in­
the middle between the two guide rails.
2.­ Tighten­the­grub­screws­(33)­with­the­
small hex key (17).

Working instructions

The­cutting­width­markings­(26)­on­
the protective hood (24) show the
front and rear cutting point of the saw
blade­(Ø 140­mm),­at­maximum­cutting­
depth.
Sawing (without guide rail)
Right angle sawing
•­ Hold­the­machine­with­both­hands,­one­
hand on the handle (6) and the second
on the auxiliary handle (1).
•­ Switch­on­the­device,­see­chapter­
"Switching­on/off".
•­ Place­the­machine­with­the­front­part­of­
the saw table (10) on the workpiece.
•­ Lower­the­plunge­saw­and­saw­for-
ward with moderate pressure – never
backward.
Mitre cuts up to 45°
•­ Set­the­desired­cutting­angle­as­described­
in­the­chapter­"Setting­the­cutting­angle".
•­ Hold­the­machine­with­both­hands,­one­
hand on the handle (6) and the second
on the auxiliary handle (1).
•­ Switch­on­the­device,­see­chapter­
"Switching­on/off".
•­ Place­the­machine­with­the­front­part­of­
the saw table (10) on the workpiece.
•­ Lower­the­plunge­saw­and­saw­for-
ward with moderate pressure – never
backward.
Plunge cuts
•­ Set­the­desired­cutting­depth­as­described­
in­the­chapter­"Setting­the­cutting­depth".
•­ Place­the­device­on­the­workpiece.
•­ Hold­the­machine­with­both­hands,­one­
hand on the handle (6) and the second
on the auxiliary handle (1).
