Store the saw blade in a dry and dustproof
location and out of reach of children.
Operation
Removing/inserting the
battery
1. Toremovethebattery(34)fromthe
device, press the release button (35)
on the battery (34) and pull the battery
(34) out.
2. Toinsertthebattery(34),pushthebat-
tery (34) along the guide rail (9) into
thedevice.Youwillhearitclickinto
place.
Checking the charge
status of the battery
Thebatterychargestatusindicator(20)
shows the charge status of the battery (34).
Thechargelevelofthebatteryisindicated
byilluminationofthecorrespondingLED
lights while the device is in operation.
Toseethechargelevel,keeptheon/off
switch (5) depressed.
Red-amber-green => battery fully charged
Red-amber => battery approx. half
charged
Red => battery needs to be charged
Charging the battery
If warm, allow the battery to cool
before charging.
Charge the battery (34) when only
theredLEDonthelevelindicatoris
illuminated.
1. Remove the battery (34) from the de-
vice.
2. Slide the battery (34) into the charging
slot of the charger (36).
3. Plug the charger (36) into an outlet.
4. After charging is complete, a green
light will be illuminated permanently.
Youcannowdisconnectthecharger
(36) from the mains supply.
5. Remove the battery (34) from the
charger (36).
Checking the function of
the protective hood
1. Place the device with the saw table
(10) on the edge of a solid surface so
that the plunge saw can be lowered
completely.
2. Push the switch lock (3) forward and
lower the plunge saw.
3. Check whether the saw blade (27) is
rubbing against the protective hood (24).
Check whether it moves back to its
original position on its own.
If the function of the protective hood
is faulty, do not put the device into
operation and contact our Service
Centre.
Installing/changing the
saw blade
Switch off the device and remove
the battery before carrying out any
work.
1. Push the locking lever (2) towards the
auxiliary handle (1).
2. Push the switch lock (3) forward and
lower the plunge saw until it audibly
engages.
3. Release the switch lock (3).
