the saw blade to jam, resulting in kick-

d) Do not place the saw on the work bench
or the floor if the protective hood is not
covering the saw blade. An unprotected
saw blade that is still running will move
the saw in the direction opposite of the
cutting direction and cut whatever is in
its way. Pay attention to how long the
saw blade remains running.

Safe working
•Themaximumspeedstatedonthetool
must not be exceeded. If indicated, the
speed range must be complied with.
•Circularsawbladeswithcracksinthem
must be taken out of service (repair is not
permitted).
•Toolswithvisiblecracksmustnotbe
used.
•Toolsmustbecleanedregularly.
•Toolpartsmadeoflightmetalalloys,
e.g. resin, may only be cleaned with sol-
vents that do not impair the mechanical
properties of these materials.
•Toolsandtoolbodiesmustbetightened
in such a way that they cannot become
loose during operation. Please note the
information on assembly.
Tightentheclampingscrewholdingthe

•Extendingaspannerortighteningwith
the help of hammer blows is not permit-
ted.
•Thetighteningsurfacesonthesawblade
must be cleaned to remove any dirt,
grease, oil and water.

facturer to ensure safe use, see the sec-
tion"Spareparts/accessories".
•Maintenanceworkandmodificationsto
circular saw blades should only be per-
formed by a professional, i.e. a person
with specialist training and experience
who is familiar with the design require-
ments and the necessary safety steps.
Cleaning
•Removeanydirt,suchasresin,fromthe
saw blade using only solvents that do
not impair the mechanical properties of
the saw blade.
•Trytocleanresinoussurfaceswitha
damp, lukewarm cloth that has been
wrungoutwell.Makesurethatnoliquids
can get into the interior of the housing!
Alternatively, you can use a special
cleaner (resin solvent) or multispray.
Please take notice of the safety informa-
tion and instructions provided by the
manufacturer of the special cleaner/
multispray.
Maintenance
•Checkthesawbladeforobviousdefects
after each use and replace a blunt or
bent blade or one which has been dam-
aged in some other way.
•Maintenanceworkonthesawblades,
such as repair or regrinding, should be
performed by a professional.
