2. BEFORE INSTALLATION
Please follow the following advice before installing the system:
• The system operates under 12V continuous voltage (12V DC). Be sure of the polarity of each wire.
• Check before installation if all the elements of the vehicle are working correctly such as ignition & engine starting, illumination of codes, lights
and headlights, indicators, heating, air conditioning, door locking, ... Check after installation that all these same elements work.
• When you connect the general GROUND of the system, it is very important that this ground is true and totally stable (no leaks).
• Ensure that all wires passing through tight spaces are protected with adhesive tape to avoid excessive twisting and degradation of the wire's
plastic protection with the risk of poor contact.
• Make sure that the system wires and all security accessories are as well hidden as possible in the vehicle, never forget that you are installing
a security system.
• Use a digital multimeter to identify each polarity of the wires.
• Be careful not to disconnect the battery if the vehicle has a code radio.
• If the vehicle is equipped with an AIRBAG, be careful not to disconnect the battery from the vehicle, nor to connect the wires without certainty.
• Remove the dome light fuse when installing the system to avoid draining the battery (doors open).
• The reversing video is an information tool, the safety of the vehicle and the people near it is the responsibility of the driver only, the driver
must look to see if there are obstacles or people near his vehicle . We cannot be held responsible in the event of a collision.
MULTIPLEXED VEHICLES
The system is compatible with multiplexed vehicles. All the information necessary for the connection is on wires with normal polarity (+ or -)
on which no coded information passes (multiplexed BUSCAN, VAN or other coding). You must never cut or touch a multiplexed wire. IN ALL
CASES, IT IS USELESS AND NOT RECOMMENDED TO CUT AN ORIGINAL WIRE OF THE VEHICLE. YOU ONLY NEED TO MAKE A SPLICE AND RECOVER
THE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE SIGNAL PASSING THROUGH THAT WIRE. For any information or advice, we ask you to contact our technical services
