4. INSTALLATION OF SENSORS

The position of the sensors is indicated in the diagrams opposite. A drilling tool (hole saw) is supplied with the product (see
diagram A, below). We advise you to protect the bumper with adhesive (painter's adhesive type) so as not to damage the bumper
when drilling. Light sanding of the edges of the hole may be necessary after drilling.

The sensors must at least have an axis parallel to the ground, i.e. 90°, according to the perpendicular of the bumper (see
diagramcB, above).
The sensors have a flat field and must therefore respect an orientation. The two arrows in
relief on the sensor must be positioned upwards, in the center and at the top in order to obtain
an optimal detection field (see diagram C opposite).
/!\ We advise you to add adhesive putty behind the reversing sensors of the RVU-RR1 kits,
RVU-5R1W & RVU-7R1W, in order to reinforce their fixing as well as the tightness of the installation.
