6. SCREEN INSTALLATION
Thanks to its rotating and adhesive support, the RVU-5W kit screen can be placed anywhere in your cabin. The ideal position for
your screen is on the top of your roof near your interior rearview mirror. If this position is not possible, or does not suit you, you
can position the screen on the dashboard where it is visible when reversing.
We recommend the use of a primer (our ref: RX-PR01 not
provided in this kit) for maximum adhesion before gluing the
double-sided. The primer must be applied to each part receiving
the double-sided (screen support and part of the dashboard or
roof where the screen will be placed).
When you position the screen on the roof, it is recommended to
screw your support using the holes provided for this purpose.
The wiring must be concealed in the windshield pillars, under the
dashboard, under the trim and must not remain visible. It must in
no case: hinder driving, pass near heating elements.
The screen attaches using
high-strength double-sided adhesive
to any support. We advise you to
thoroughly clean and degrease the
support before gluing.
