3. insert the remote control and batteries
4. put the steam boiler, burner and table in place,
but do not secure them properly in the boat until
you have finished trimming.
Stick tesa tape around the hatches in the floor.
This prevents the floor from getting dirty with glue
when filling the ballast.
Put the boat in the bathtub or a similar water
vessel. Mix the ballast with some slow-curing
epoxy glue (UHU plus endfest or similar,
absolutely slow-curing) and carefully fill this
mixture through the hatches. In between, always
check the position of the gas tank, boiler and table
in the hull. When everything is correct and the
boat is submerged to the intended waterline,
leave the boat in the water until the glue has
hardened so that the position of the ballast does
not change. The next day you can glue in the
hatch covers.
We wish you a lot of pleasure with your
Alexandra.
Please note the detailed instructions for operating
the steam engine in its manual.
This model is not a toy. Young people under
the age of 16 should only operate models with
steam engines in the presence of adults.
