1. The oil and the oil filter should be exchanged every 4000 hours of operation or every 2 years. For
detailed information about the oil and oil filter see chapter 6.6. Use a collection pan for the oil
exchange. Oil which leaked onto the floor must be removed immediately. Clean up the oil according
to the special environmental regulations of your land.
2. The oil level should be checked on a weekly basis. Refill to the upper marker. Always use the same
oil type. Please pay attention to the safety instructions in the "safety data sheet" of the hydraulic oil.
After months of still standing the oil should be controlled.
3. The colour of the oil should be checked on a monthly basis:
- Milky white oil indicates water content
==> Change the oil before further use..
- Oil colour darkens, rust in oil
==> Change the oil before further use.
INFORMATION:
 To guarantee a long operation life and an optimal usage of the machine the
exchange and maintenance intervals must be strictly observed.
 The hydraulic oil should always be filtered using a 10 µm filter sieve before being
used.
 Clean up the oil according to the special environmental regulations of your land.

Replacement of the hydraulic tubes

We recommend that the hydraulic tubes have to be replaced after 5 to 6 years.

13.1

Customer Service in case of interruption

DANGER!
 Before starting maintenance, disassembly/assembly or repair work, the hydraulic
unit must be disconnected from power supply. Touching live parts can cause
danger of electrocution with fatal consequences!
DANGER!
 Due to the risk of hand or finger injury, never try to reach into the machine before
having assured that the hydraulic unit is disconnected from the power supply.
 Disconnect the hydraulic unit from the power supply by operating the main control
switch and pull out the power plug, before mounting or changing the safety guard,
die adapter and die set!
