The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The pa-
ckaging materials have been selected according to environmental and
waste disposal aspects and can therefore be recycled.
The return of the packaging to the material cycle helps conserve raw ma-
terials and reduces the production of waste. When no longer required, dis-
pose of the packaging materials in accordance with the local regulations
in force.
NOTE

Keep the original packaging during the warranty period in order to
be able to pack the appliance properly in the event of a warranty
claim.
For safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance, the installation locati-
on must satisfy the following requirements:

Install the appliance on a horizontal, heat-resistant and water-resis-
tance surface with a sufficient load-bearing strength.
■
Select the installation location such that children cannot touch hot sur-
faces of the appliance.
■
The appliance is not intended for installation in a wall or a built-in cup-
board.
■
The plug socket must be easily accessible so that the mains plug can be
easily pulled out in an emergency.
For safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance, the following instruc-
tions must be observed for the electrical connection:

Before connecting the appliance, check the connection data (voltage
and frequency) on the rating plate with those of your mains power sup-
ply. This data must correspond in order to avoid damage to the appli-
ance. If in doubt, ask a qualified electrician.
■
The plug socket must be protected by at least a 10 A circuit breaker.
Ensure that the connecting lead is undamaged and is not laid over hot
surfaces or sharp edges.
