Fundamental safety precautions

This chapter contains important safety precautions for the use of the ap-
pliance.
This appliance complies with the prescribed safety regulations. Improper
use can, however, result in personal injury and/or appliance damage.
NOTE
Observe the following safety precautions for safe use of the appliance:

Inspect the appliance for visible signs of damage before use. Do not
use a damaged appliance.
►
Have repairs to the appliance carried out only by authorised dealers
or by the works after-sales service. Unqualified repairs can create
considerable risks for the user and also void the warranty.
►
Repairs to the appliance during the warranty period may only be
carried out by service centres authorised by the manufacturer as
the warranty will otherwise be voided in the event of subsequent
damage.
►
Defective parts may only be replaced with original spare parts. Only
these parts guarantee that the safety requirements are satisfied.
►
Persons who due to their physical, mental or motor response abilities
are unable to operate the appliance may only use the appliance
under supervision or instruction by a responsible person.
►
Allow children to use the appliance only under supervision.
►
Protect the appliance against the weather such as rain, frost and
direct sunlight. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
