Before switching on, always check that the water tank and the coffee bean
container are full. If necessary, top up with water or coffee beans. Every
time the appliance is switched on or off, it requires water for the automatic
flushing cycle.

When operating temperature has been reached, the appliance carries

out an automatic flushing cycle. The water flows into the drip tray. The
flushing cycle is shown on the display:
NOTE

During the flushing process you can place a cup under the coffee
delivery unit so that the drip tray does not have to be emptied so
frequently.
When the flushing cycle is completed, the appliance is ready for opera-
