Adjust - Timer
• To start the timer function-
press the button (H) on
the front panel or select -
the menu item
„Timer".
Confirm with the menu
item „Set", the timer setting
is displayed. By rotating the
control knob (D), the timer
can be set.

• Hours you want and press
control knob (D)

• Minutes you want and
press control knob (D)

• Secundes you want and
press control knob (D)
The selected time is displayed.

Security settings

In the Security menu, the
user has several options
available. Device functions
are to be set according to
individual needs.
• To start, select in the
submenu „Safety" and
confirm by Pressing the
control knob (D).
In the menu item „timeout"
defines how long a break in
communication between the
magnetic and the WiCo - Box
remains without reaction of the
magnetic stirrer.
If the set time limit,
the preset temperature values
and speed values are active.
Please refer to the separate
operating instructions for
WiCo - Box.
In the other menu items, the
user can enter the limit values
for temperature and speed.
• Select in submenu Password
and confirm it by pressing
the control knob (D).
Enter a number combi-
nation as a password and
confirm it by pressing
the control knob (D).

This information screen
indicates that the user
has to confirm the safety
temperature value when
the devices is switched on.
• Safety circuit confirmation
When you boot the
device, the current safety
circuit temperature by
pressing the control
knob (D) to be confirmed.
pH - Measuring
To determine the pH value of different liquids, in the device a pH-
measuring function is integrated.
Before the start of a pH measurement, the pH sensor with the
device to be calibrated.
The calibration is used to align the device and the pH probe used
to each other. In this process zero and pH gradients are determined
for the measurement chain. For calibration should pH4, pH5 and
pH7 buffer solutions are used according to DIN 19266.
Note:
A pH calibration can be started only with connected temperature
sensor.
• Scroll in the menu to the
icon pH Probe
• Open the menu by
pressing the knob (D)
• Open the menu
„Calibration" and
confirm by pressing
the knob (D)
• Immerse the pH probe
and temperature probe
in the desired buffer
solution.
• Confirm the value, once
he is stable by pressing
the control knob (D).
• Follow the instructions
on the screen and
immerse the pH probe
and temperature probe
in the next buffer solution.
