Medium temperature control with
PT1000 double temperature sensors
The symbol is shown on the
digital display to indicate that two PT1000
sensors are operating.
There is a temperature sensor in the heat
transfer medium and a temperature sensor
in the reaction medium.
Automatic recognition of the heat transfer
and reaction medium sensors take
place. The setpoint temperature (2) dis-
played is for the reaction medium tempe-
rature. The higher temperature is auto-
matically assigned to the heat transfer
medium and the display as the actual
temperature with the additional
symbol ...... (3) is displayed.
The actual temperature of the
reaction medium is used as current
temperature value (5) shown.
The temperature of the heat
transfer medium is shown (3).
The heating plate temperature and
the heat transfer medium temperature
are limited by the heating plate safety temperature (7) setting.
The reaction medium temperature is limited by the medium safety
temperature setting or above the temperature limit (heat transfer
temperature / reaction temperature)

Temperature limit
To ensure that neither the reaction liquid or the transfer medium
is heated too high, the user can set for the bath liquid, a separate
temperature limit.

• Scroll in menu to the
icon Heating
• Open the menu by
pressing the knob (D)
• Open the menu „Limits"
and then „Medium limit",
set the limit temperature
for reaction liquid
• Confirm the set limit by
pressing the control
knob (D)

• Open the menu
„Carrier limit" and set
the temperature limit
for the transfer liquid.
• Confirm the set limit
by presing the the control
knob (D).-

• Open the menu
„Limit information".
All set limit values,
including hotplates
safety temperature
display.
• Exit the menu by
pressing the control
knob (D)
Calibration sensor
In order to reduce temperature variations due to tolerances, the
user can calibrate the temperature sensor with the unit.
2 point calibration:
Calibration with means of two temperatures
3 point calibration:
Most accurate way of probe calibration at three different
temperatures
Note:
The execution of a calibration is represented by the blending of
the red symbol (11) in the display.
The calibration of dual sensor PT100 and PT1000.50 done
independently.

and then „Calibration"
and confirm by pressing
the knob (D)
• Select 2-point / 3-point
calibration, and confirm
by pressing
the control knob (D)
In this function, the speed can be preset before beginning
calibration.
