Operation
(quick guide)
Ensure that the protective film is removed from the base plate before use! With the menu button „Back" can be changed in the menu
F Move device switch (A) to the OFF position
Commissioning F Insert the power mains cable into the power socket (K)
F Move device switch (A) on the ON position
a The unit will be set to factory setting mode A (see "operating modes")
F Adjust the motor speed using the rotary knob (D)
a The value selected will be shown on the display (J)
Stirring
F Set the start point for the agitation function by pressing the rotary knob (D)
i a Icon (16) appears when activated motor
F Set the safe temperature limit, (see "Setting the safe temperature limit")
F Adjust the set-point temperature using the rotary knob (C)
a The value selected will be shown on the display (J)
F Set the temperature control mode (see "Setting the temperature control mode")
F Set the start point for the heating function by pressing the rotary knob (C)
Heating
i a Icon (4) appears when activated heating)
i a When the device is switched off, the display (J) will show HOt if the plate temperature is
above 50 °C.
F Move device switch (A) to the OFF position
F Detach contact plug and attach a DIN 12878 (Class 2) compliant safety contact thermometer or a PT100 (1point)
Connecting PT 1000 (2point) temperature sensor to the socket

F Press button (G)
F wait until the system is stable (after the system is stable, behind the digit 0 appears a „g").
F Weight placed in the middle of the heating plate, and wait until the system is stable.
Weigh
i a The maximum weighing range was 2000 g in one time.
a The maximum load capacity of weighing function was 5000 g.
a The weighing function can only be activated when the heating and stirring functions are turned off
i a The weighing module can be calibrated (see „Calibrating the weighing module")
PH-measurement a see chapter „Calibration pH probe and pH measurement"
F Press button (H)
F Set the desired time in hours, minutes and seconds by turning and confirm by pressing the rotary knob (D)
After starting up the heating or stirring device, the timer function begins counting backwards (see „Timer function")
Timer
i Once the timer has reached 0, the function of heating is always switched off, even if the engine has been started first.
Unless the heater is activated during timer operation, only the heating is turned off, the motor will continue (bumping).

Setting operating mode

Operating the device in mode A, B, or C
Factory setting: Mode A
The mode selected will be shown on the display when the device
is started up.
Mode A
All settings will be stored if the device is switched off or
disconnected from the power supply. The agitation and heating
functions will be set to OFF when the device is powered on.
The set point and actual temperatures will be shown alternately on the display (J)
The maximum temperature that can be set for the heating plate is 340°C
a The displayed on the screen (J) actual temperature (5) corresponds to the temperature
of the medium. The symbol „probe" (11) lights up.
a The displayed on the screen (J) actual temperature (5) of the temperature sensor
corresponds to the temperature of the medium. The symbol „external temperature
sensor" (11) appears. Same time the temperature of the carrier liquid is shown (3).
Mode B
All settings will be stored if the device is switched off or
disconnected from the power supply. The agitation and heating
functions will be set to ON or OFF when the device is powered
on, depending on the previous status of the device.
