Modes C
All modes (A/B/C) can be worked with or without temperature
measuring sensor.
When the instrument is switched on, the state of the functions
heating and stirring before the last switching off (mains OFF),
as well as the data set last are taken over. The set rated values
from A -and B -modes of operating cannot be changed.
Changing the operating modes
- Scroll in the menu to the icon „Mode"
- Open the menu by pressing the knob (D)
- Select the mode by turning the knob (D) and confirm
the selected mode by pressing the knob (D)
- A short description of the selected mode is displayed

Functions
Control of medium temperature with
PT100 temperature sensor
The selected temperature control mode is in use with PT100
by the symbol „PROBE" (11) in the digital display.
The setpoint temperature (2) and the actual
temperature (5) displayed are for the medium.
The heating plate temperature is limited by the
setting of the safety temperature circuit (7).
The medium temperature is controlled and
regulated by a micro controller. This ensures
that the medium, sensed by the PT100 sensor,
is heated as quickly as possible without excee-
ding to the set temperature. The micro
controller automatically adjustes to the
various heating capacities of different
vessels and their content. This system
ensures optimum temperature control
without temperature drift
or fluctuations.
Control mode
The user can control the temperature in three different heating
modes to their specific needs. The selected temperature control
mode is displayed in addition to the symbol (11).
Fast PID: Combines the advantages of PID and 2-point
Control (very
rapid heating
and high control
accuracy,
overshoot
are possible).
T
Set
PID: For very sensitive media, which must be handled very
carefully.
Advantage:
• very accurate heating-
of the liquid
• no overshoot the
set temperature
Disadvantage:
• slowest heating
Two point measuring:
For media that are not too sensitive.
Advantage:
• Heating much faster
than PID
Disadvantage:
• Overshoot for medium
temperature up
to 10 °C
