4 ADJUSTMENTS
4.1 Length adjustment of the arm
With the plough attached to the tractor the roller (9) must be fitted so that the
roller always runs between the second and third body. If necessary move the
adjustment device (8) on the arm (4) as required. After that the bolts (14) must
be tightened carefully.
4.2 Distance between integrated packer
FixPack and plough
The distance between FixPack and the
plough will be adjusted by means of the
adjusting device (6). Usually the device (6)
will be adjusted long enough so that the
roller (9) doesn't touch the plough bodies
during work and turning operation.
For that adjustment use the locking pin
(14) and the row of holes (15).
4.3 Running direction of the roller
During work the roller (9) must always run
in working direction. Vice versa the casting
area of the roller shall be limited so that
the roller is guided securely during the
turning operation and doesn't touch the
bodies of the plough. The running direction
will be adjusted by means of the setscrews
(17) after loosening the counternuts (16).
After the adjustment the counternuts (16)
must be tightened again.
4.4 Crumbling effect of the roller
By means of the pin adjustment (30) the
crumbling effect of the roller can be ad-
justed. Use pin (31) which is positioned
behind the guiding stop (32), to adjust the
crumbling effect. The front holes have to
be used, when more crumbling effect resp.
a shallower working depth of the plough is
required. The rear holes have to be used,
when a minor crumbling effect resp. a
deeper working depth of the plough is
required. Use pin (33) which is positioned in front of the guiding stop (32) to limit
the lowering movement of the roller in relation to the arm (4).
