3 ATTACHING THE INTEGRATED PACKER FIXPACK TO THE PLOUGH
The FixPack can be attached to 3- and 4-furrow ploughs of the type Lemken
DLV 120, 121, 140, 141 and 160, Lemken DLVHX 120 and 121; Lemken Vari-
EuroPlough 7, 8 and 9 and Lemken EuroPlough 7 and 8. The FixPack can't be
attached to ploughs which are equipped with a central skimmer adjustment.
The attaching of the integrated packer FixPack to the plough may only be
done with the plough attached to the tractor and completely lowered.
3.1 Attaching the bracket
The bracket (1) will be fitted in front to the
flange plate (2) of the plough frame.
Before screwing on he nuts (3) 'Loctite'
must be applied on the thread. After that
the nuts must be tightened with 260 Nm.
3.2 Attaching the arm to the bracket (if
not yet attached)
The arm (4) will be attached to the bracket
(1) by means of the pins (5). Secure pins
(5).
3.3 Adjusting device
The adjusting device (6) will be fitted to the
front leg bracket (7) of the plough as
shown in the picture. Tighten the fastening
bolts carefully.
Warning: Before attaching the adjusting
device (6) to a DLV or a Vari-
EuroPlough plough, the plough
must be set to the narrowest
working width per body.
3.4 Attaching the adjustment device (if not yet attached)
The adjustment device (8) will be fitted to the arm (4) so that the roller (9) runs
during work between the second and third body of the plough.
3.5 Attaching the roller to the adjust-
ment device (if not yet attached)
The roller (9) will be fitted with its frame to
the adjustment device (8) by means of the
clamping bolts (10). All bolts and nuts
must be tightened carefully.
