1 TEMPERATURE MONITOR
The 4−channel temperature card A6630 is part of the A6000 machine monitoring system. The
monitor is used to measure temperatures with thermocouples (TC) or resistance temperature
detectors (RTD). The analog input signals are digitized on the card and provided to process
control systems and / or post−connected diagnosis / analysis tools via current outputs or bus
communication.
The card has 6 alarm channels with binary outputs, which can individually be assigned to the
input channels.

In this product information, the mounting and electrical connection of the
monitor is described.
For secure use of the monitor, observe the direction for use "Four Channel
Temperature Monitor A6630" (Part number: 6110−90102). You can find this
direction for use on the configuration software CD as pdf−data file. Amongst
others, it contains useful information for configuration and use of the A6630.
To ensure safe operation of the monitor and to permit setting of all functions,
it is indispensable to use only the latest version of configuration software
(version 2.08 or newer) and operating manual.
The use of old operating manuals or configuration programs out of date may
lead to malfunctions or limitations of the measuring functions.
