CSI 6500 mounting in "Thermocouple mode"
In "Thermocouple mode" only two thermocouples can be connected to each of the channels 1
and 2. For that reason, the channels 1 and 2 offer the opportunity to connect 4 thermocouple
sensors in total at these two channels. Connection of RTD sensors is not possible at channels
1 or 2 in Thermocouple mode.

In Thermocouple mode, one thermocouple and one 2−wire RTD or alternatively just one 3−wire
RTD or one 4−wire RTD can be connected to the channel 3. Thus, the channel 3 also offers the
opportunity to connect up to 2 sensors in total at this channel. Maximum, one thermocouple and
one 2−wire RTD Sensor can be connected at channel 3.

CSI 6500 mounting in "RTD− mode"
In "RTD− mode" one thermocouple and one 2−wire RTD or alternatively just one 3−wire RTD
or one 4−wire RTD can be connected to each of the channels 1 ... 3. Thus, each channel offers
the opportunity to connect up to 2 sensors in total. Maximum, one thermocouple and one 2−wire
RTD sensor can be connected per channel.
