1.6.3 IMR 6000 mounting
If mounting the A6630 into an IMR 6000/10 or IMR 6000/30 rack system, the determination
which and how many sensor types can be connected to an input channel of the A6630, only
depends on the chosen subtype of the monitor. With application of the IMR 6000/10 the slots
CD1 ... CD10 can be used with the A6630. With application of the IMR 6000/30, the slots CD1
... CD8 can be used with the A6630.
The hardware functionality of the A6630 is not limited by the IMR 6000/xx hardware integration.
I.e. with integration of the A6630 into a IMR 6000/10 rack at slots 1 ... 10 or alternatively with
integration of the A6630 into a IMR 6000/30 rack at slots 1 ... 8, all four channels are available
via the rack outputs. Further restrictions only depend on the chosen subtype (TC− or RTD−
mode) of the A6630 and will be described in the manual.
IMR 6000 mounting in "Thermocouple mode"
In "Thermocouple mode" only two thermocouples can be connected to each of the channels 1
and 2. For that reason, the channels 1 and 2 offer the opportunity to connect 4 thermocouple
sensors in total at these two channels. Connection of RTD sensors is not possible at the chan-
nels 1 or 2 in "Thermocouple mode".
